Here at Moela, we are dedicated to providing our chefs with top-notch training to ensure guests enjoy the best and most innovative dining experiences that Botswana has to offer. Recently, we hosted Jasper Saunders, “Jaz” - an accomplished chef who spent time creating an inspired, evolving menu and teaching our chefs to think outside the box, enhancing their culinary skills with his expertise from the foodie world.
Jasper trained at Silwood in Cape Town before spending many years as a chef on luxury yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, gathering exotic flavours along the way. More recently, he has worked as a private chef for a family based in Cairo and London. We are thrilled that 'Jaz' has initiated a chef's training program at Moela, introducing fresh and exciting dining ideas for our guests to enjoy in the most gorgeous safari settings.
We believe that on a safari vacation, nothing beats slowing down and savouring mouth-watering dishes in wild places, surrounded by abundant wildlife and birdlife. It’s soul food. On top of this, Moela is perfectly situated where the game comes to you, so we can honestly say that the dining experience here is second to none.

We are here to help with any further information needed and excited to start to spoil more guests at the brand new unique Moela, sharing our piece of paradise with them, which in turn, also supports the upliftment of the Khumaga community and provides Moela with the resources to continue to move forward with more conservation work in the area to mitigate human wildlife conflict and so much more!
